Anyway, it was hurting, but "not bad enough" to miss yesterday's talent pool field trip to make pottery. So, this morning we went to the dentist... one of Samantha's least favorite places, mostly because she, like her mother, has an exaggerated imagination, and is a worrier.

CJ gave her a kiss for good luck.
And after a little bit a gel, a little needle, a little more gel, another needle, a few tears, a little hand squeezing, bada-bing, bada-boom...it was out!
Oh, mercy! Thankfully she has a very kind, very patient dentist. She is working on her bravery skills. To our delight, we found out it was a baby tooth being pushed out of the way by a new molar. It cracked the baby tooth in three pieces.
Gross, huh? TMI, I know...
Who knew that one tooth could cause so much pain!
She thinks the tooth fairy should pay extra for this one.
I just realized you can almost see my living wall color in that last picture. :-) Barring any other oral catastrophies, I will have living room pictures soon...be patient, Mom.

Going to the dentist is my least favorite place to go too, hee-hee. And I vote YES... the tooth fairy should weigh all the facts and leave a bigger wad of loot ;)
Man alive, my mouth started to hurt just by looking at the pictures! I know how she feels...and she looked pretty good for having a cracked tooth! Be glad she's not like me...you wouldn't have slept until you brought me to the doctor. :)

Samantha's expression in the dentist chair mirrors my feelings exactly. Glad she's smiling on the other side, must have been that kiss from CJ.
