Several people have been coming down with swine flu lately...there was even a rumor that our family had it, which I cleared up on Sunday, only to have Alex diagnosed with it on Monday. Oh well. When we went to the doctors office, they had a sign up asking anyone who had a fever to notify the staff when we check in, so I told them she may have a fever. She was not pleased with me when they handed her a facemask and asked her to put it on. Does it make me a bad mom that I laughed and took her picture?

Anyway- Alex's spirits were lightened when 2 nice young men came by this afternoon bearing gifts for the ill. What a nice thing to do.
NH brought a bag with a stuffed pig in the bag stuffed with tissues instead of tissue paper and NN brought a stuffed teddy bear, Dove chocolates and a card. Well done boys! Take a look at the bag! So cute!
And so it begins... I don't think I'm ready... but she is.

aw MAN i was TALKING to Alex on Sunday. **starting to feel swiney** :) Naw, we are insane paranoid at my office too because several people have had it and we have masks and sanitizer EVERYWHERE. and oh my Word how cute were those boys to be so thoughtful :) Hope she gets better soon!

Gifts from the boys?? I know I will never be ready for that!! Ranoah came home two weeks ago with a list of the boys she likes. Sheesh!!!
