CJ called 911 yesterday. I didn't know it until the phone rang.
"Hello?"
"This is Madison County 911. We have an open line from the address *******, what is your emergency?"
"Oh my gosh. I am SO sorry. My son must have dialed 911. I am SO SO sorry."
"That's ok Ma'am." Click.
2 Minutes later the door bell rings. I know instinctively. It's the police. I answer the door, and explain what happened as back-up arrives. I am so embarrassed! One of the policeman is the same one that walked out my front door a year or so ago when my neighbor called the police because he was concerned that our back door was left open for 3 hours while we were at church and thought it was a break-in (sorry for the run-on sentence). At least this time my house was clean, but I was a mess! He insisted on looking around before asking for my name and date of birth, which he wrote down on his little memo pad. I am pretty sure it's going on my permanent record. I am also quite sure that the next time someone calls about our house, no one will come.
Sorry. I was too embarrassed to take pictures.

Grant did that once and they had to make someone verify on the phone that there was no emergency! Nice to know calling 911 gets quick results though!
We had a similar case like that when we had security installed years back. One of the kids was playing with the keychain security activator and hit panic without us knowing. Yikes!! The alarm sounded and in 3 minutes the police were there. Fun times with little ones in the house!!
That is so funny Charity! I love picturing that adorable CJ being responsible for calling the cops. How cute!
