and the weather was nice this weekend! YAY!

Ever since the family reunion last summer, I have had this picture in my head.

At Cliff's Family Reunion in Arizona, the great-grandkids all acted out scenes from his grandparents life history. In the above picture, Alex (being the oldest great-grandchild, and having been born on her birthday) was chosen to play the part of Cliff's grandmother, who had a picture taken of her in a bathtub (bathtub part being played by other cousins)wearing nothing but her birthday suit! I know, right?! She was completely covered, but it was still a bit saucy for the time, I am sure. We all got a good laugh from watching the kids act it out, but immediately, I had the idea that I wanted that picture to put in the girl's bathroom!
Cliff's mother tracked down the original picture for me and sent me a digital copy, and I had a picture made.

It has been in my unfinished projects pile since maybe ... August. But not anymore!
Here it is in one of the frames that was crying for a facelift. Oh, the wonders of high-gloss black spray paint!

It is one of my new favorite things in my house. I think I can hear it saying "How ya like me now?"

Me too! I love when you have pictures in your house that mean something or tell a story.
I first scrolled down and saw that awesome pic- then read and found out it's his grandma? how cool! What a fabulous picture- and for the bathroom too!

Only her husband would have taken a picture like that.
