The wild, wild, west

We are just now recovering from our "vacation", and I decided I should probably blog about this in increments, otherwise the pictures would be overwhelming. So we start with the flight and day 1.

Cj wasn't too sure about the airplane. We anticipated trouble so we brought the portable DVD player, which happened to accidently be left on so that the battery was drained when we needed it. AGH!

We flew into Las Vegas and stayed with Cliff's sister, Marleen and her family.

Cliff's sister, Marlisha and her kids came down from Utah to see us and spend the day with us before we headed off to Arizona for the reunion.

Cj had a blast riding in their motorized Barbie jeep along the track they made around the perimeter of their backyard. Such a great idea!

We spent the day swimming with more cousins in the backyard of Cliff's cousin's brother-in-law. I think I got that right, but they were kind to allow all 25 or so of us to come swim. Can you imagine having this in your backyard?

We said good-bye to cousin, Charlene and her family. It was so good to see them, and their house. We hadn't seen them since their oldest was a baby.

We stayed up late playing games and hanging out. I think Sam got 1 hour of sleep the first night, and 3 the second night...and no naps. We were all exhausted, and I was drier than a prune. I told Cliff that I am a delicate southern flower that needs water. :)
