Something to talk about...

Well ...I wish I could say I have been up to really exciting things that have kept me from my blog, but NO. I thoroughly enjoyed Kg's baby shower, and I am so excited for her, but I don't even know what I have done in the last few days that have stolen my time. Alex is being tight-lipped about her life so that I don't post anything ;P But, last night after David Archuletta's performance, I told her, "Alex, your goal now needs to be that you live your life in such a way that you can marry David Archuletta in the temple!" She said, "Mom, he's like 17 years old, that's 3 years older than me!" ( I love that she didn't mention that he is 1) famous now 2) lives in a different state 3) I could go on ...) I said, "Alex, ask your Dad how old he is!" She said, "I know he's 3 years older than you!" and later "oh man- now you're going to put that on the blog!" You know it baby!

Predictions...Luke Mercado will be one of the guys going home on Thursday. Not sure who else yet. From here on, I will refer to David Archuletta as "Archie" because I hate to type out his whole name, sad huh? So it's almost like "Archie" is using American Idol as his platform to bring peace to the world and it just makes me love him more. Also- I have to say that I noticed that Jason Castro had that boyish smile like "archie" last night. Did anyone else notice? And- believe it or not...once again Cliff watched with me...of course I taped it on the DVR and we didn't watch it til we were home after 9, but he did watch. I think he's coming over to the dark side.

I am making progress on my tree painted on the wall of the baby's room. I'll take a picture when it's done. The baby is moving tons and tons and I realized that what I thought was the baby doing this "spread eagle" thing, is actually Braxton Hicks contractions, which I did not have with either of the girls. Go figure, but they are quite uncomfortable. Well- I have a full day visiting teaching changes, grocery shopping, bank stuff, cleaning...you know the drill!

Yeah Luke Menard is a a loser in my house haha, Dusty claims his voice is so annoying he can't even stand listening to him. I kinda hope Chikezie goes home too, Everytime he comes up i just fast forward through him lol.

I can't wait to see your mural. I'm already planning on having room envy.

Are you the VT Coordinator?

I fully support Alex's romantic pursuit of Archie. If only one of my own girls were old enough for him... everything that boy sings is golden.

Hey, Charity! I hope you don't mind- I saw that you had commented on Alisha's blog so that's how I found yours :-) I love American Idol, too, and pretty much agree with everything you've said! I LOVE David Archuleta, but I must say the thing that brought me the most happiness this week was that Luke Menard went home! It was definitely painful to listen to him.. haha
