Alex got her first Honkin' big ZIT, so she wanted to take pictures so here they are:
For Samantha's birthday, she wanted a "Pop Star" party, so we ran with it. She asked the guests to come dressed as a pop star and boy did they. Alex stood at the door in bodyguard attire, at hte end of the red carpet, and only let the girls in if hey were on the "guest list". We took a picture of each girl with the Hannah Montana poster, and they decorated picture frames to pu their picture in. The girls also played "Pin the Sunglasses on the Pop Star", for which we also used the Hannah Montana Poster. After that we had cake and ice cream. Samantha's cake was made to look like a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with her name on it of course. After we pumped them full of sugar, they DANCED the night away...or at least until their parents came to pick them up. She and her friends had a lot of fun! And I stayed within my VERY tight budget! For Alex's 14th birthday, she wanted to take some friends ice skating, so that's what we did. We met at our house first for cake and ice cream, and then headed to the ice rink. The girls had fun, but I have to say, it is alot more fun entertaining 8 and 9 year olds than these 13-14 year olds. It is new territory. But they all had a good time. Here are a few pictures from that day.
