It's been a week, so I have a few things to post. First, I took a picture of what Alex got for Valentine's day from a BOY!!!!! AGHHH!!! A box of chocolates and a pack of gum. Note the message on the box...where he marked off "From:" and wrote in "Love:". Alex made a point to put my box of chocolates on top of her box to see which was bigger..her's was, which is fine with me..I don't need it! I think Cliff gets chocolates for me because he knows I will share :)
Last Thursday, one of my lovely visiting teachers came over and showed me how to make bread. Whenever I have made bread it comes out ok but not great. But at Christmas, my VT brought me some DELICIOUS bread and I asked her if she would teach me how to make bread and she very kindly agreed..so here are pictures of my first "good" batch of homemade bread! We started with white bread (because she said it is a good place to start) and a variation on the white bread...cinnamon bread. So yummy! I am so pleased with myself. There just might be some hope for me yet! They even looked pretty. I am going to try making it again by myself this week. This may sound silly to some of you who already make good bread...but this is an art if you ask me, and not one I am particularly good at...yet :)On to "Idol" chit-chat. If you watched last night, you may have noted that there were only 3 guys that Simon really complimented...and I have to say that I agree. He said they each "had it" and they do. One of course is my previous pick, Danny Archuletta, one is some guy with dreadlocks that we barely saw during auditions but is really good and the third guy, whose name escapes me, Dave somebody, who sang Bohemain Rhapsody during Hollywood week. Love them all but Danny Archuletta is my favorite..he is so adorable and his smile is infectious, and he's so humble which makes him very likeable. And so it begins...the night of Cliff (when he is home) being banned to the little TV in the kitchen if he doesn't want to watch American Idol. And to quote him..."I would rather have someone poke my eyes out." Poor guy...but he does think we should have a Finale Party...just to celebrate that he can watch something different on Tuesday and Wednesday nights! Oh well...
Hi,Ho, Hi, Ho, it's off to work I go!

I need someone to teach me how to make bread... I can3 never do it with any kind of consistency!
Ok so I have to tell you that I like the same guy, the last one with the dreads! He reminds me of John Mayer and I love the way both of them change their facial expressions while they're singing!
I am so sorry the boy thing has started already. Ugh. I dread it. Please take notes of your good and bad moments for me please.
You know the best part of baking good bread? Sharing good bread.
I love your Idol-chat.
I ditto your comments.
