Fall Break

I don't have any pictures :( That would have required forethought...anyway- we joined Cliff in Birmingham for his Continuing Education classes. We didn't go to his classes, we went thrift store shopping and were very successful, thankfully. I got Samantha 6 pair of jeans, 2 skirts, and a coat. I got Alex a jacket, a coat, 2 shirts and a skirt. A total of 14 pieces for $47. The coats were the most expensive, but were adorable brand names, barely used and in great condition.

I stopped by my friend Brenda's house, to give her some decorating advice. She says I am her "design consultant" and that her husband won't let her make any changes unless I approve them. I am flattered. It is always fun to see what things she has planned to do and give my input. it is a great creative outlet for me, especially when I can't do as much to my own house as I would like.

Cliff has more CE in November so we may be back in a few weeks for a visit. We'll see.
